Regalo sports a compact, heavy boned frame with noteworthy body capacity. At first glance his conformation appears superb—his fluid movement confirms it. Regalo’s masculine head is well shaped, true to type and extensively covered (as a weanling/yearling, he was wool blind and required routine trimming). A calm temperament in a stud male is always welcomed trait and Regalo is among the calmest we have ever seen making him a pleasure to handle.
What a fiber machine—long staple length, uniformity, fineness and pleasing hand. Regalo was shown on a limited basis prior to embarking on his breeding career. He placed 1st in the Juvenile Composite class at the 2001 Big E Alpaca Show. Blue ribbons are always appreciated however judge Mary Reed’s comment “Extreme Uniform Fleece” on his fiber score card meant more to us! Regalo later placed 1st in the White Fleece Class at the 2002 New England Coastal Classic Fleece Show.
As they say, the proof is in the progeny and Regalo’s offspring are simply beautiful; abundant, crimpy and fine fiber, extensive coverage, gorgeous heads, great conformation with heavy bone and balance. To date he has thrown light and dark fawn, dark brown and white.

Gem is a medium-plus boned male with correct conformation and movement. His head is clearly masculine and muzzle square with correct jaw alignment.
Gem's rich fawn fleece is typically classified as being vicuna style-very narrow, high amplitude crimp and extremely bright (almost lustrous). We specifically purchased him from Snowmass Alpacas to bring brightness, uniformity and fineness to our breeding program. One of the pleasures of owning an alpaca for several years is the opportunity to evaluate how gracefully he ages especially with respect to fineness and hand-Gem has done well.
Gem has proven himself repeatedly by producing offspring that simply glisten when the sun catches their fleece! Most bear a signature "beard" although Gem does not sport one himself.
As always, we believe the proof is in the progeny and Gem's progeny speak highly of him. His offspring have included the following colors bay black, dark brown, light-dark fawn, gray and 1-2 whites.
- Confirmed pregnancy via ultrasound or progesterone
- 60 day complimentary board for females (and crias at side)
- Farm calls for females with crias at side welcome; distance a consideration
- Negative Fecal Test & BVD testing required
- Live birth guarantee
